The LG 15EL9500 OLED TV has been available in the UK for a few months now. However, the widely anticipated summer 2010 launch in North America seems to be slipping away. With the demise of the Sony XEL-1 and no replacements in sight, this leaves consumers in North America with no OLED TVs to choose from.
The LG USA and LG Canada sites have no information on the 15EL9500 unlike the UK site – LG OLED TV
I’ve contacted LG to see if I can get an update on the status of the 15EL9500. Please check back in a couple of weeks to see what’s up.
